Cancelling an Appointment
If your appointment time becomes inconvenient for you, we are always happy to change this with two business days’ notice. This allows us to schedule a patient who may be in urgent need of our care.
Helping us so that we can help others
Whilst we appreciate there may be occasional unavoidable situations that warrant last minute changes, failed appointments and last minute cancellations can sometimes interfere with how we care for other patients and create scheduling problems for all our patients.

Our passion is helping people with their problems and we do strive to accommodate the appointment needs of all our patients and make every effort to provide emergency dental care where needed at short notice. This means leaving free time slots every day for those in pain.
If you are unable to keep your appointment and need to rearrange it, we ask that you provide at least *48 hours’ notice. This allows us sufficient time to attempt to re-allocate your appointment time to patients who require an emergency appointment or are on our waiting list.
If part or the whole of the cancelled surgery time is, however rescheduled and used by another patient, any cancellation charges will be reduced accordingly.
We are, of course part of a caring profession and do understand that sometimes cancellations cannot be helped due to unforeseen health or family circumstances, and we do always take such reasons into account.
Late cancellation fees & failure to attend for a scheduled appointment are:
Check-up Appointments - £35.00
Hygienist appointment – from £42.50 (depending on appointment length)
Treatment Appointments – 50% of the treatment fee.
*Cancellations for Monday appointments (and Tuesday appointments following a bank holiday) must be made by close of business on the previous Thursday.
