Airflow polishing is a dental hygiene treatment that effectively removes stains on the front and back of teeth. The procedure works by using a fine jet of compressed air, water and fine powder particles to remove staining and stubborn discolouration caused by coffee, tea, red wine, tobacco and some mouthwashes. If you have sensitive teeth, this treatment would be ideal as the dental equipment doesn’t come into contact with your teeth.
For best results, it may be advisable to have a scaling treatment to remove plaque prior to air polishing.
